About the Artist
Randy Traynor is an award-winning landscape and wildlife photographer based in Tallahassee, Florida, United States. Randy’s images have been published as magazine covers, are on display at public buildings, airports, national and regional art galleries. Randy has been the Artist-in-Residence for the National Park Service (Big Cypress 2019) and the United States Forest Service (Alaska's - Nellie Juan-College Fjord Wilderness Study Area 2018). Randy's photos have been featured in Tallahassee Magazine, Emerald Coast Magazine, Wild Planet Magazine, Defenders of Wildlife Magazine, Landscape Photography Magazine, National Parks Magazine, 25th Anniversary-Natures Best Photography Magazine (and their online gallery), the 2016 Zion National Park visitors brochure, various publications of The Florida Bar and was a top 100 finalist for the 2014 Smithsonian "Wilderness Forever" exhibition. 

Artist Statement
Welcome to the world through the eyes of my camera. My photographs express my feelings for the locations I visit and the wonders of nature that I encounter along the way. If you find yourself wandering into my photos, I have accomplished my mission.

My Equipment
My images have been captured using Multiple Canon DSLR cameras and L series lenses. For my landscapes I use a Canon 6D with various L series lenses but mainly my "go to" lenses are the Canon 16-35mm L f/4 and Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L II Tilt-Shift Lens.  I use a Canon 1DX and Canon 7D Mkii for sport and wildlife action shots with either my Canon 300mmL f2.8, Canon 400mm L f2.8 or Canon 70-200mm L f2.8, series lenses. Manfrotto Gimbal Heads.
